Breaking news 12/6/03: expect spot closures on the southern half of the I-270 beltway due to investigations relating to the shootings that have happened on the I-270 corridor since mid-November.

Introduction

The beltway around the capital city of Ohio is the only full I-270 beltway that still exists.  It runs approximately 55 miles, and was dubbed the Jack Nickulas Freeway (though nobody in Ohio ever refers it as that).  Legend speaks that Nickulas has contributed more traffic problems on the freeway than anyone else.
